My car Funtime has been reduced since it should have been put away by now (according to my wife) so renovating stuff in the house before Xmas is the new priority.
I am still driving the car yet but next weekend it goes away...

Have fun if you manage to "herd the cats" that are Ottawa 86 owners lol

FT1 (toyota supra)

I have been thinking about the price point on the car if it should come to be.
The Lexus RC (308 hp) starts around $50,000 while the RC-F (450ish hp) is in the mid $80,000 range. If the supra does come under the Toyota badge, possibly 350-400 hp and a price around $60,000 and maybe a second variant closer to $100,000 range with 500+ hp. Any thoughts or perhaps a different rational. We should see a near production model soon, perhaps at the LA or New York auto shows.

Now back to my Christmas list for the FRS.

I think you're right.. I'm excited to see what this machine will able to do, and hope it's going to look a lot like this concept -Name: 2016-Toyota-Supra.png

A lot will depend on which cars the want to compete with.

BMW M4: $75K
Corvette Stingray: $65K
Mustang GT350: $63K

Change the comparator, and the price for the Supra changes as well.

Let's hope. That works for me!

Very good comparison's. I'm leaning more to the corvette model for pricing. The M4 is too sedany in my opinion and the mustang although beautiful, is not as exotic or sexy as the corvette, more just brute, in your face force.

Personally I think the Corvette is going to be the main comparison as well. The question is will it be the Stingray or the Z06 that they go after.

I think they will go after the base and maybe the BMW version goes after the Z06.

Lease Takeover?

Hey folks,

I may be buying a new house and that could mean trimming the car budget...

I have a 2014 asphalt FRS with 19000km leased @ 355 tax-in with 42 months and 81000km remaining.

Anyone know of someone in the market for a twin? I have set of winters to include as well...

"Hoping" for a straight transfer through Toyota credit...

Let me know!

James
