No, I'm saying you're making a big deal out of drilling holes in the bumper. Like it's strange or something.
You people can stop saying it's been explained to me. Your reason is just dumb. I can't believe you'd rather make your car look ugly than just have a license plate in a normal place. |

I never crapped on anyone here before. But I freely admit I'm super crapping on all these hideous license plates that have become trendy. That's the worst part: that someone saw one posted one day, another person probably said "oh that's cool I'm going to do that too!" so you guys enclosed yourself in a bubble where you thought it looked good.

Hmmm...
Why not let people do what they want? They're not hurting anybody and unless you're losing sleep from where people put their license plates I'd try not to think too much of it. I'm sure there are things that you like that most people wouldn't like themselves. It's preference. Some say potato I say potato? There's an unnecessarily overt emphasis for where a hunk of metal is placed than trying to be happy for another person for enjoying something that they have. I personally like it when a plate is where it would normally be but I don't see how that matters? |

I think the only time you'd want to step in to take a stand to shake people of a certain mindset, would be if it were something serious... you know, like bigotry or something...But these are just sheets of metal.
But theres a bigger picture! Wouldn't you feel better knowing that there are people who are enjoying what most people might not be fortunate to have, whether it be having a license plate here or there, slapping overfenders on it, or turning their car into a drift missile, and really just having a little fun with their car? Life's short, rock an asymmetrical license plate. No ones dying from them either. Or not! see, its all preference.. but the minute the you use words like "hideous" to describe another person's anything, you probably need to step back and see the bigger picture. |

I've seen this trend FAR too much for it to correlate with just a bunch of people who happen to be moving soon. Center license plates are like freckles. People ignore them because they're normal and become invisible to our views of cars. |
