holy crap that is lots of love on the front bumper. It already looks clean as is; cant wait for the final piece!

Are you planning to style/mod the fog light areas to mimic the concept as well?

Not at this moment. This is my DD. Currently was driving a 2015 Vette (2LT+Z51) while my car is down but, my time it up and I had to give it back.

I may do something in the future on the foglight area but, not soon. I don't think I'd pull from the STI concept though. I like the design of the GT300 and this photoshop more.

What if the side curtain airbag goes off under them? Shortly later I ended up making a joke to one of our vendors when he was asking, "What products would we like to see for the twins?" A few jests later and I paypalled Jason at DSG the money and specs. We set out to creat the first (IMO) good pillar pod for our cars.
. Yep, I'm more or less in the same boat.

Jason had already done this with other cars in their "Forever Driven" line including the Evo and GT-R! That sold me~

Unfortunatly for Jason and DSG Performance, I was very persistent on matching the OEM textures and dash materials. Ideally we could have just wrapped them in alcantara suede and called it a day. This ended up being a huge challenge eating up alot of time. But, the end result was perfect! Sadly problems with production occured resulting in high lead times and costs so this part isn't (at the moment) being mass produced. So I ended up with a 1-off custom pillar pod. DSG and Evasive Motorsports then hooked me up with a sweet set of Tanabe Revel VLS (O-LED digital) gauges which are pure bliss!
. Noooooooooooooooooooo!! I've been looking at the current product offerings the last few days and didn't come across the gauge pod in the pic. I'm assuming that it's still a 1-off?

As for the pillar, for now Kiske officially has the one and only. I was very happy with how it turned out but sadly due to our local production here, all our pillars have come to a grinding halt (much to the dismay of EvoX owners especially)

Pretty much hibernating over winter. I have done a few little things and am getting ready to chase alky injection come spring.

I did wakeup this weekend and give it a rinse for some Cars 'n Coffee! A fantastic day (bit chille morning) in January. Tons of nice cars came out! These little shows always a fun and easily get me looking for my next mods.

I've figured out 2 things. I want an GT3 or Cayman next.

KC-86 always has a good turnout to these, though are numbers our getting smaller every event

Was thinking my car needed a diet. Next to the new Camaro... I think she needs to start putting on muscles!

All of our twins whp added up and we might be able to take on an Alpha GT-R that showed up and may have broken axle/driveshaft on it's way out.

911 GT3 So much sex!

Always fun and entertaining when more than half the car show up rocking winter wheels and snow tires!

Lastly I did some work today, installed the Shrader Rerformance rear seat delete! A local said he had one new and was thinking about selling and sold it to me at cost, minus shipping. 5min drive and 30min later and were golden!

I've got some mixed feeling on the kit which I'll try to iron out. I've been looking at this setup for a while since the Seibon carbon delete is just too damn expensive and as much as I like drift missles and racecars I want to keep a finished looking interior in my car this time. That being said I want to also install a roll/harness bar and think this kit will allow me to easily do a clean installation without having to leave the rear seats out. I'm also toying with the idea of a rear metal seat mount to attach a JDM STi WRX Spec-C Intercooler Spray tank for my methanol installation. It's should fit and with a bit of work will provide a huge 12L tank that is daily driver friendly.

Kids in the back seat may cause accidents. Accidents in the back seat may cause kids. So,....... No backseat = no accidents!
I was a bit shocked to see how much dirt and dust was behind the rear interior quarter panel plastic. >30k and it's pretty bad. I'm going to have to grab some seamsealer and undercoating to fix this.

The kit does look nice though seems very cheap which I'll point out below. I'd give it a 3 out of 5.

+Lighter than stock though with the seatbelts removed your only saving 5-6lbs max.
+Matches factory carpet nicely
+Premade and easy bolt in installation w/instructions
+Cubbies... or basicly the gap between the lower bottom plastics and the floor pan. You could fit a small braille battery in there if you placed it on it's side. I couldn't reccommend it though.
+Not any louder than stock.

-Cheap. Thin ABS plastic covered in carpet w/ unfinished under sides. The plastic is strong but flimsy. You couldn't put more than 5lbs on it.
-Fit is a bit bad in places. This is shown in all their demo pictures. My issue is with the 2 bottoms around the center console.
-No hinges. The back is held on with 4 plastic christmas tree clips. Repeated removal and you will need new clips. The bottom simply sits behind the lower brace and doesn't attach to anything.
-The bottom cubbies are basicly you lifting and bending up the lower/back brace to throw stuff under them they are attached to the brace by 2 push pens and a 90 degree lip. Nothing hold the panels down in the front so there can be an unsightly gap.
-The 2 cover pieces that hid the former seat bottom bolt are SHIT! It is a 3x4" plastic pice with 2 holes in each one. You put them over the exposed body and then attempt to put the included push pen into the old bolt hole. The push pin included in mine doesn't fit I'm going to fabricate my own cover and possibly a latch to hold the fronts of the lower peices closed.
-The included sound deadning is just 2 pieces of mats your to lay under the rear panels. They aren't trimmed and as far as I could tell do nothing.

I've done a lot to this car in the past month... I got experience direct injection failure... 2 and a half weeks later she is back in action, abit a few small hickups. Unfortunatly it took most of my budget to fix her, nevermind the sleepless week of diagnostics trying to figure out what was wrong with it until mayhem reared it's head.

New MAF, AFR Sensor, Rear 02 Sensor, A full set of DI injectors/rails and all new OEM lines and seals. Had a head cleaned, repaired and checked by a local shop, ultimatly replacing a couple valves, a rocker and a full set of GSC Turbo & S/C valve springs, which was an upgrade done simple because oem replacement springs would be a few weeks out. Doing everything but the headwork myself I cam just under $2k... pretty much everything I saved for suspension this spring.

I've got it running and doing well, it has a bit of an idle dip probably 1 out of every 15 times you come to a stop. Dips down to 600rpms and then is fine. I'm guessing a vacuum leak or boost leak might be possible.

I did do a few positive things though. I finally got my tires and wheels on. I ended up going with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ instead of Super Sports. I haven't really gotten to beat on them yet though, they have been supurb in the wet so far. Also got the rest of my ground effects painted in the pearl black I've been using in my build.

Also made up my mind and decided to go with RCE Coilovers. Probably T0's. I'd love T2's but it is a bit hard to swing after what just went into the car. Looking at grabbind some LCA (either SPC or Velox's) and some other bits before focusing on BBK.

The following picture, prior to breaking it, was a doodle I did or a possible rear diffuser design I may build this summer. I'm not sure about the side, it would look much better like the 2015 NY STi concept (with the center exhaust) but, I really don't like center exits too well. :/
