I haven't installed the springs yet, so I can't tell. I'll make sure to update this thread when it's done!

Quick question:

Quote:
STI : steering rack bushings, details here.
STI : steering rack bolts from BRZ tS, details here.
Those can be considered 1 mod all together, right? I mean, all those parts go together here:

You can do either one independently from the other. However I do recommend to do both at the same time to get the full benefit (in steering feel). Removing the oem bushings and placing the sti ones requires proper tooling. A hydraulic press ideally. My Subaru mechanics did it on my car and he said it was a total pain in the a**.

Good to know, i think it's worth doing both while you're at it so i wanted to make sure

I'm just starting to order parts, so hopefully i will have a very similar setup in a couple of months (including some Öhlins porn)

For being such a pain to install are they even worth it?

Yeah the bushings (which is the hard part) do make a noticeable difference.

Congrats on your new car! I order my JDM parts from http://www.suruga-performance.com
Their site is far from complete, email them with your part requests and they'll come back with an offer. Most of the time the cheapest around. If you're a french speaker, you can address them in french as the company is ran by a couple of swiss guys.

After the first few kms, the stick is significantly firmer but it shifts just smooth. So far I am pleased

First trackday of the year, at Spa.

And installed some new track rubber on my Enkeis (not tested yet).

I am guessing you went for the 225's, right? Track only?

Be careful when cold/wet! I use them on the road with no problems, but some extra care doesn't hurt.

PS: Going to the Ring this August(6th-11th) with another 2 GT86's... Just saying

Yep 225! I'll make sure to stay on edge in colder weather, but I guess it won't too different from the AD08R in the same conditions

Duly noted for the Ring, I'll definitely try to join you guys then!

First laps of the Nordschleife this year. The Pilot Sport Cup 2s were great! Felt like even more grip than my former AD08R.

And before the track opened, we managed to get some drone footage a dawn.

Nice lap, smooth and relaxed, great drive as usual. Too bad there was a bit too much traffic, but that is expected on GHD. How did you find the "new" Flugplatz? Is it way faster?

I am still undecided about which tires i'll be taking to the ring this year, i'm afraid my PSC2's won't make it until then...But i'll definitely need some decent rubber to try and beat you

PS: Those drone shots are amazing. If that isn't the most beautiful place in the world, i don't know what is. Gosh, i really miss it!
