You need Torque and a bluetooth dongle. Here's my main Torque gauge page in my car:

Hey, it was free (for OP) and is 100% better than the rest of us got with the car.

take it off and take pics from inside.

Could be:

-GPS tracker
-OBD tracker
-Insurance data collector
-Obama the socialist spying on you and limiting your car from hitting 300hp

Pretty sure it's OBD thing for your phone to see car data.

Be careful, they have a tendency to drawer power from the car 24/7 and if you don't drive regularly you can discover your car's battery is too weak to start. eBay has extension OBD scanner cables with on/off switches so you can place the scanner at a more convenient location and switch it off when you're not using it.

I read an article that you don't want a OBD plugged in 24/7 because somebody can pair with it and tinker with your car while you're away.

It is easy when you know how. An OBD terminal application is easy to get. If you know the right commands you can do all sorts. The application Carista lets you configure the GT86 using a wifi or blue OBD device

The battery drain is minuscule but you wouldn't want to leave an OBDII bluetooth dongle in there for a couple weeks without driving because of that minuscule draw. As for someone else screwing with the car via Bluetooth yea it's possible because the pass code is 1234 or 0000 for all those devices, but for most of the main functions the ignition has to be in the ON or ACC function to communicate with the ECU to change anything....

If you didn't put it in pull that crap out and dump it because the last owner was using it.
Doesn't anybody read beyond the first couple of posts?
