Maybe for the street I'll have some 305's, but I'm going to have one set of rims in 18x10 so that would be a hassle to keep changing tires for the track.
I gotcha, I was thinking a pair of light weight front wheels with some compound R for race events, but that can be probably more then you want

So you have a diff set of wheels with street tires right? Or do you just change the tires off and on the rims for events? I know you don't run the comp r on the street

Correct, I have two sets of wheel. But my 18x10's are going to be the only ones I will have that are that wide for a while, so one set of wide wheels will have me switching tires for road and race day. Track days are often in this region. Many different organizations, and various tracks.

Or you could wait a bit and get a car that correctly transfers weight to its drive wheels under acceleration... Just sayin'

I owned a 350z do you think I stopped building my tC just because I had a 350z too? No.

Or maybe the two of You can buy your own and not worry about mine

Or maybe you can join me out on a race track someday with your vastly superior vehicle because you think it transfers power better so you will automatically win

Or maybe I can wait and get one with paddle shifters instead of a manual trans,

Or maybe I can wait to get one that has the color blue rather than black

Or maybe I can wait to get one that's not a hatch and have a regular trunk

Or maybe I can continue to build on what I got, surprise people who never would expect it.

A list of "Or Maybe" can go on and on...

In all seriousness, I'm not a "Pro" FWD person. As mentioned I have had a 350z that I use to drift, and I wouldn't mind pushing around a nice Evo/STI. But....when something brings me success, no way am I going to get rid of a good thing. So, while I get another RWD (FT-86), the tC will never leave my side.

It gives me the "WTF" Reaction when I'm at the race track and I pass up a guy pushing a Z06 Vette around, or an S2k (you know, those cars that transfer their power over the drive wheels that suppose to make them vastly superior). I've passed up these guys when I'm not even on boost right now. When I get back on boost....REDRUM.

Pushing a FWD around the track and passing up these other superior cars (on paper that is), allows me to give the forum/internet haters the "Middle Finger"....when I show the video...BHAHAAAA!

Why not just get 4 lightweight wheels?

But I'm seriously hoping to fit 16in wheels in this car...I highly doubt it.

Cars coming out today...even the FWD stuff is coming out with 19in stock.

And was talking about the front wheels changing tires on just those on the same rims, but yeah that would be the way to go, providing you got the $$$
