It took me about 4 hours to swap my header and frontpipe because I was laying on the floor. That underbody is clean though!

Was pretty damn easy, now just to find 2 days free so I can pull the front end apart and paint it!

![]() Put on my winters. It's a bit early as it is still pretty warm here. 15 degrees celsius today but I'm on vacation so no better time to do it but this week.... Steelies for the next 4 - 6 months sigh. Wanted to get my car detailed and coated before the winter but sadly I won't have enough time. Gotta wait for my next vacation week ;( |

Drove it into the mountains for a few hours. I had the day off today, and after what has seemed like an eternity of absurd temperatures (you socal people know it's been at least two or three months of like 85+ degrees every single day), it's finally beginning to feel like fall-- ~70F, breezy, with scattered clouds. The temperature dropped to 45F and the wind picked up as I went up... conditions at the peak were just lovely. I brought myself a lunch and had a lil' picnic:
![]() It was nice to get out. I haven't had a proper drive in months because I've been worried about boiling my oil thrashing it uphill for 30-45mins straight with ambient temps so high. Some day I'll have to get a supplemental oil cooler and an oil temperature / pressure gauge... Quote:

Did this a few weeks back but never got around to posting it. Completed my interior with this custom red shifter boot from @Overland Designs. My girlfriend also bought a little gift for the car!

Good eye! It currently sits underneath all of that, so it is still connected but you just are unable to see it. I tested the car without having that piece plugged in and although the car drives fine in auto, I was unable to switch into manual mode and use the paddles.

I prefer the clean look of the MT over the AT, since the AT has that gear select sitting there.
