Less chirping since I changed to Chevron.

I waited until the tank was almost empty and filled the tank with the high grade Chevron and the chirping became less noticeable sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. While using the premium gas from the station I have used for years the chirping was very loud. My wifes Lexus 350-IC has no problems with it. I live in Las Vegas and cannot find a Sunoco gas station or gas without ethanol.
I do not drive the car much so I am almost ready to fill it up again. MY mileage is 750 miles. Any ideas?

Drove it when it was really hot out though? Esso and 26+ degrees was always certain chirps for me. Shell or CT and never heard a peep outta the little guys. I know they are gone until spring now though.

Nope didn't a single chirp even at 26+ degrees. I'm sure the Esso from London, Ontario is the same in Markham, Ontario.

Oh I doubt that the Esso in the same station is the same from delivery to delivery. They have a pretty big margin they can work with and still be in "spec". I will never understand why one gas works for some and not other but we see it all the time on here.

Wait, wha? Are we talking about the cricket pump?

In-tank pump supplies all at high-volume, manifold injector rail pressure.

HPFP feeds off of MI rail and boosts pressure to feed DI rail.

You were originally correct. The cricket pump feeds only the DI.

It takes its fuel from the low pressure rail feeding the manifold injectors.

When I bought my car new, no crickets for the first ~400 miles. After I changed out stock intake for Injen intake, had crickets almost always at idle. Now that I have about 3k miles, chirping only occurs on occasion. Been trying to figure out if there is a pattern for moments when it chirps and when it doesn't, but my research has been inconclusive thus far.

I have been using Chevron 91, the highest available in my area, for almost 2 months now and the chirping has stopped.
