Come on... It's not such a big deal. I have a GT86, but everything I really love about the car is also present in any FR-S.

Hey, pluck the tyres off and post the rims on eBay!
I was looking for those 16" OEM wheels to use with winter tyres. There was one set out there, and it was too expensive. (Bought some generic ones instead.)
I'm sure a lot of people would want those rims

I am pretty sure the shipping from China would negate any cost savings from buying local at a higher cost anyway.

Ya here is a different matter. If you really want them then shipping costs or nothing are the only options.

That should not come as a surprise to anybody. Some of us have been saying that since the colour was announced. Unfortunately if they keep focusing on that crowd then they will add sound deadening, softer ride, more gadgets and so on. Can you say "Genesis coupe"?

I wonder if the paint and glass quality is still mediocre on the RS2.0... Because I'm getting a bit of a chuckle trying to imagine that intended audience purchasing the car and then coming to this forum to ask for advice when they run into many of the same "issues" we all have

What glass issues? No issues with mine so far. I think road noise and the built in Subaru rattles are the biggest detractor of the car feeling luxurious.

I don't think the paint is any worse than what you see on all other cars these days. It is applied nicely without excessive orange peel. It chips, but so does everything else that is low VOC.

I am also wondering about the glass issues. I have been hit by crap that should have took the windshield out and not suffered even a chip so far. Glass is also a safety device and must meet some pretty stringent government requirements.
Quent headed off my usual paint VOC lecture but ya anybody that buys these that hasn't bought a new car in the last two years may very well be put of by the paint and that will just get worse the more "upscale" they try to sell them at.

Hmm, maybe I'm overstating any glass "issues" then, I just know from the TC's I've seen around here they're small chip central.

I have two small ball point sized "chips" on my own window, but nothing major...

With all my highway time I went through two windshields a year on my Lancers and still on the first with the FRS so I think the glass is a treat. Could be that all the nasty stuff just flies over top though since I have a couple of really nasty stone hits on the roof.
