recaro profi XL?

Does anybody know if the profi XL will fit in our twins? I've asked multiple times in other threads without luck in getting answers. Ive read somewhere online that ot will not fit but I have seen other seats similar in size installed. Thanks.

Don't quote me but I don't think it will fit without some work. I had enough trouble getting my Pole Position in and the Profi XL is bigger I believe. The guys at Evasive said that the SPG is the only Recaro seat that is meant for the car since it's pretty small.

Funny Evasive quoted to me yesterday that Recaro Pole Positions were the only good seat for the FRS...

i have the Sparco Chrono Road seat in mine and it looks like the Profi XL dimensions at its widest points are 0.25-inches bigger than the sparcos. my seat was pretty easy to fit inside the car, but once it was in i noticed that there is hardly any space left on the sides. I'm guessing the Profi XL will fit, but you might not have much room to slide it forward/backwards due to the center tunnel of the car.

From my experience there are no bases or sliders that fit the pole position as is besides the Buddy Clubs. A couple friends have had poor experiences with Buddy Club rails so I decided to find alternatives. The only thing that I could find was using a Planted seat base and having Evasive drill into the seat base to fit the sliders.

I just recently put my Recaro Pro Racer HANS XL in my BRZ
Should be somewhat similar to the Profi XL
here are the dimensions on my seat that I found:

I used the Nagisa Auto Seat rails

The 2 front bolt locations and the inside rear bolt location lined up pretty well...the outside rear (door side) required us to use some force to position the seat in place to get it tightened down. (the seat is a bit wider than the rails and stock bolt locations want it to be) Doing that binds up the rails a bit and they are not super smooth to adjust but they are still movable. I use the seat in the car for track use and put the stock seat back in when I don't need it so continually adjustment isn't a major concern of mine. Still adjustable, just conscious to not move it a lot as to not wear out or damage the components in the seat rail itself.
