I'm always scared to look at the BMW M Series prices lol. Just seeing $700/mo is a lot for a kid like myself. Good luck to your friend for transferring the car.

Hey guys, need some input on this decision. I'm am fully bolt on and tuned I made 197whp @Pure Automotive and I was looking to go e85 and was wondering how much of a bump I'll see or expect. Thanks in advance...

Depending on the tuner and your mods,10-15whp if it's good E85.

Find somewhere that actually fills with nitrogen and they will be more stable. Mine start to throw the code around 40* with normal compressed air, but they don't trip the code at the same temp when all nitrogen.

Goood e85? If he's NA, e50 will make the same power as e85 on an e85 tune. You can only advance the timing so much to make peak power on this engine. There is a point of diminishing returns and it's around 95 octane.

A Good tune w/ exhaust setup will net you 200+whp. I would avoid e85 as the investment seems a bit too much, seems better for Forced Induction.

Sorry, I'm running a flex fuel kit, so when I say good e85, I meant e85, not e50, not e70. I can definitely feel a difference between e50 and e85 on my tune.

That's probably still not making sense, but w/e. I'm tired.

Only thing gunna be hurt is my pockets after spending 1100 on kit and dyno sessions to only make 15whp extra if that lol

And double post for science,

full bolt on w/ E85 N/A - 207 hp w/ OFT

I can only assume with ECUTEK this could be increased.
