As long as you don't have it behind a thick case it will hold up just fine.

@Andrew025 I'm in the air on going with vent mount or suction. Leaning toward vent mount for the options.

I personally don't like the vent mounts because most of them seem to move the vents and droops down lower over time.

I've got mine suctioned to the glass on the corner of the door.

I thought the same thing, and typically why I stay away from the CD mount clips. I thought of the suction option, but then I'm stuck with having the phone over in that corner. Decisions decisions.

it does fine on stock tires. on grippy tires it should be good too. A hard thud or pothole might alter its angle a bit.. but it won't fall off.

i just stuck a pilot g2 pen in my airvent. The clip hooks on the outer vent and then shaft prevents the vent from drooping down if you angle it right. Problem solved.
