Ah okay.. he said "strut" so I got a little confused there. 114 ft lb for the 19mm strut mount bolts.
Although those 17mm bolts in there rear are plenty beefy to handle more than 59 ft. lbs.

From everything I'm reading this really seems like a good setup for the street. Thinking of picking up this setup come spring time.

Tein Flex Z coilovers
SPC Rear LCA
Megan Racing rear strut tower bar

Anyone on here running a similar setup to this? This is my DD so this is why I'm considering these coilovers. Good setup for the money it seems for what you get. Might do 1 or 2 track days next season realistically but this will be a DD street car.

Same set up I have minus the rear strut bar, I have a cusco bar up front. Loving it all.

Skip the rear brace, put that towards a front one

Hmmm interesting. Why do you recommend the front versus the rear? I'm open to different setups. Won't be doing this till spring time anyways so lots of time to figure out a setup for my car.

Honestly, and I'm a huge proponent of chassis bracing, you really don't need front nor rear strut bars on this car (maybe front bars). Unless you are running r-comps or really sticky street tires along with really firm spring rates it's just extra weight and "bling." Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against blinging your car, but in terms of performance or feel the difference is negligible to none. The rear bar moreso than the front bar. Plus you aint going to see the rear bar often and it will take up cargo capacity.

You'd be hard pressed to feel a difference of a rear bar for DD duty. The front bar is arguably negligible also IMO.

The single greatest changes you're gonna be making with the coils and alignment will make the bars a wash. Again all IMO

Alright, so other then getting my suspension and alignment sorted... What other suspension mods would you guys recommend for my street car? I really just want to be able to hug the corners with confidence.

Other mods to note that affect handling:

17x9 +35 RPF1 with 245-40-17 Michelin PSS

You think just the coilovers will be enough to satisfy my needs? Oh and I might be getting hanook RS-3's in the spring to replace the PSS.

^ Go do some track days and or autocross? The stock hardware is plenty good as is without mods. Though alignment really made a huge difference for myself.

Side note: I find it funny how ppl are scared to voice their opinions and experiences because of forum douche-trolls. It's okay, buh. Don't be scared of them. You are allowed to think for yourselves. lol

That was my plan initially but now that I got new rims the wheel gap is starting to bother me. Was gonna go with a spring kit but from what I've read you are better off just getting coilovers.

Still a long way from spring so I may change my mind... I could just get the SPC rear LCA and front camber bolts to get my car aligned with stock suspension correct? Might go that route first and see what happens.

Those are all good choices. Alignment alone is good, springs with stock damper work well too, these teins are surprisingly good as well. It's all what you are willing or wanting to spend. I just wonder how well these dampers will work long term, a year or 2 years down the road and if durability will be an issue especially if you beat on them hard.

I like the front strut tower brace with master cylinder brace. Mostly because of the MCB.
