Something that makes me nervous is the fuel cut off. Would rather it bounced and not just cutt off and bogs down. My automatic tc would bounce off 2nd gear. But today I hit the rev limiter and it fuel cut off and boged down. Going to make things interesting where you don't want to get into 3rd

Edit. Someone said it jumps back to 7000rpms and that may have been what I felt today? We will see this up coming weekend for sure.

Been following this thread and on NASIOC.

Have you run your BRZ with those wheels with the TPMS light on? Can you turn off all the driver assists still?

I'm likely going to get a autocross/BRZ dedicated set of rims and tires on mine for next year but this year Starspecs and BBS rims off my 2.5RS. Obviously they don't have sensors.

Wondering the same thing. You could drop the pressure in one of the tires to 29-30 psi and wait for the light to come on after driving and then try to disable the nannies and see if it works.

I will know for sure this weekend... My Scooby Tech Friend can't find any connection between TPMS and Traction control... I am running my BBS w/ 235/40/17 RE-01r's with no sensors ...and will report back..as the Sensors will be in the 17x9 wheels with the 245's... which I am not going to run and RUIN without some sort of Camber that I can Rely on.... So the RE01's get the nod this weekend..

Need an opinion...

I have Subaru 4 pots on my Daily Driver...*the Speedwagon as I refer to it...the plan was to use the BRZ wheels on the speedwagon ...problem is...the BRZ wheels don't Fit over the Brakes... soo the delima is: move the 4 pots over to the BRZ...and stock 2 pots to the Speedwagon so the wheels fit and life goes on... or just get another set of cheap daily wheels that fit the brakes and sell the BRZ Wheels to someone???

the Plus side: I would have 4pots on the BRZ...
and stainless lines
Better brakeing??? I already know Better pads...and new Rotors as well

THOUGHTs???

My knowledge on swapping calipers for classing is fuzzy...Is that an ST* legal mod? If it isn't, I wouldn't touch it because the street prepared class can be a serious money pit!

From 14.6

Brake calipers and mounting brackets may be replaced provided they bolt
to the standard locations and the number of pistons is equal to or
greater than standard. A functioning emergency brake of the same
type, operation, and actuation as OE must be present.
yes..Legal in ST

Try for a while with the stock brakes. With a car under under 2700 lbs you likely dont need 4 pots. Stock brakes with High Performance pads should be more than adequate.

We run stock brakes on the GXP with EBC Yellow Stuff pads, and with 315 tires we have more issues with brake lock-up and ABS than we do with a lack of braking power.
