OK, latest. Local news says qualifying runs are at 9 am. The race comes later.

Watching the Sky F1 feed, Q3 is delayed.

Vettel said over the radio that these are red flag conditions.

Hopefully it dries out a bit for the race this afternoon, its a mess right now.

EDIT - Q3 won't take place. The grid is set.

Conditions don't look too bad just before the race, and should only improve as the day goes on.

Quite a race! The track went from fairly damp to mostly dry during the course of the race. Lots of strategy involved concerning the timing for switching from the intermediate tires to the slicks. Driving skills trumped engineering this time.

Lewis Hamilton wins the U.S. Grand Prix for the third time in 4 years and also wins the Driver World Championship!

So now that Lewis has won the Championship with three races left to go, I think he should give his car over to Wehrlein for the rest of the season. Won't happen, but it would be a classy thing to do.
