yeah, i mean we've already agreed to split, we're effectively over. but the divorce paperwork isn't even filed yet, she hasn't moved out for more than a month. and we've been friends for 9 years. also, he's like my brother, and his parents are like my parents. his sister my sister, her kids are my nieces and nephews. they were both so willing to screw up every portion of their family relationship for a fuck.

This kinda reminds me of a guy I knew in Hawaii. Here's rough story. When he was in high school he had gf. After graduating he married her. He registered to serve in military and several month after the wedding, he went into military and was deployed. His wife stayed while he served.

After finished serving, he came home and whole family welcomed him back. His wife made a big surprised with big stomach aka prego. He calmly asked his wife who's child that was, cuz it wasn't his, he was gone for 2 years. Wife states that, it was his younger brother's child. He told me that, he was close to pull his Beretta out and shoot his brother, but holding that urge he calmly walked away to his family... just to get another blow to his face. His dad have sold his precious car (I can't remember which car. 60's Mustang or something like that iirc) and gave that money to his brother and wife's.

He told me that, after that day, he have not seen his family over 25yrs (that was 10yrs ago, so now 35yrs).

Not saying you're in better situation... but at least she didn't sell your car, right?

Yeah... I've been lucky with that - the ex and I get along well enough to meet at the appointments and not have custody issues (I guess a "yet" could be appropriate here)

damn that cold, i'd cut ties with the family too after that.

but not only did she not sell my car, but i also took her nice car to keep as my own and gave her my shitty beater. i own two cars most people would want to own and for that i'm thankful.

That is an all-too-common story for any branch of the service. Not necessarily immediate family but still... Looking back now? Shit, we were just a bunch of kids trying to act like grown-ups.

Yeah, my buddy got married right after his first deployment. Divorced a couple of years later. Got engaged to a different girl. Got deployed. She left during the deployment.
