Work Meister S1R 17" & 18" staggered
Couldn't decide between 17s and 18s. When I had 18s on, the fronts looked too big. When I had 17s on, the rears looked too small. Because the front is smaller, I run more profile to make up the difference. This is nice as it gives me for feel on the front, and the rears let go easier because less sidewall.
I still don't have the rears sitting right. These ones pictured will become drift spares. New ones on order that will sit better; 13mm less offset than pictured. But the fronts are right where I want them. The height is perfect. Can JUST get my trolley jack under the front tow hook, so no planks. Fronts can be at full lock and the suspension can still compress without the top of the tyre clipping the fender lip. I tried the suspension lower, but it drives/drifts nicer at this height. |

What are the wheel and tire specs that you have in the photos? Size, offset and disk please.

The rears in the pictures are mostly 225/40/18 on 18x9 +35 O disk. After I got my rear alignment where I wanted it, I played round with slip on spacers (as I did when working out the front fitment) and saw I could've gone another 13mm less offset. So I've bought a pair of the same wheels in +22 offset, which havn't arrived yet. I'll then use the 4x +35 wheels for drift days. I cross referenced the meaty tire thread quite a bit as well. I like how a couple of setups "sat". 265/35/18 on +38/35 offset wheels etc. But have no interest running tyres that wide on the front or the rear. My fronts sit the same as such a setup, but have far more inner clearance, so I get heaps of steering lock. I don't ever find the 215 lacking grip. In my eyes, I get the wide tyre look, without actually having to run wide tyres, or put up with the lack of lock / rubbing / weight / expense of running wide tyres. My priorities were basically in this order Retain stock body (no widebody) Achieve same stance look as 265/35/18 setups Retain as much front inner clearance as possible, for most steering lock Setup height so that... 1. It doesn't bottom out on my test road 2. I can get the trolley jack under the front and back, without planks etc |

Looks baller Mike. Clever work - I was thinking you'd put some fat meats on there but no.
Congrats.
