Do girls check out your car?

Except the one 16(ish) year old girl in the McDonald's drive through that asked if I had experienced any injector or coil pack issues, if my tail lights had leaked at all and noted that she couldn't hear any crickets. Apparently she had done some significant research and is getting a BRZ next year. It was probably the most informed conversation I have had with anybody about the car. She may even be on here under a username that does not give up her identity.

That girl may just be the next Danica Patrick lol. It's rare to see young car enthusiasts nowaday.

I guess I get a lot more better luck/attention with the my car being checked out.
It has been checked out quite a bit by the other girls who walk past it at the office building. My office is on the bottom floor and I park right in front of my window. The glass at work is reflective so people can't see in but I can see out. I've had multiple girls while walking look at it, take pictures, and some have even stopped and walked around it looking at it before walking away.

Also it seems to get a bunch of attention when I pick my brother up from school (he's in high school) it seems that a lot of girls in high school really like the look of this car. I get a "I love your car!" at least once every time I pick him up.

Another thing is that when driving I see just as many female drivers as I do male drivers who drive this car. I think this is a very popular and appealing car to both sexes.

Most of the time though when I do see guys checking out the car is when I am at car meets or shows. Very rarely do I see a guy come up to me and ask about the car. Most of them seem to walk over while I'm filling up at gas stations (happened twice.)

I'll always remeber this one story though...
I was washing my car at the local car washing stations and a guy in the new lexus IS car (i cant remember what it was) pulled up in the station next to me to wash his car as well. Well... his girlfriend or sister idk who it was but the girl was in his car, she came over to check out my frs! asked a bunch of questions about it because she was interested in buying one. It got to the point where her BF was done washing his lexus and came over saying "come on lets go." lol. It was one of the funniest moments I've had. The only other time that's happened to me was when I came to a stoplight next to a civic si (this was when I had my twin turbo 300zx) and the girl sitting in the passenger seat of the civic si with what appeared to be a BF driving. She was jumping up and down and yelling "omg I love your car!" to me kinda acting like she knows what the 300zx is and how rare they must be. I guess the BF got jealous because he sped off at the stoplight XD

Just posting my experience, the vast majority of women don't look twice at my car. I think this may have to do with the color. I love the WRB but it doesn't pop like orange, red or white does.

And it's funny when Civics all park next to you from the students and just stare at your car for long periods of time. I am also guilty of parking, then staring at my car for a few seconds before going into a building.



What kills me is the attention V6 and V8 muscle cars give my car. I'll be quick waxing it and they will rev and try to burnout by me. When the kids do ask me about what am I gonna do about those muscle cars taunting me, I tell them, "...nothing, I bought my car, not my parents, so I can smile and drive away without having to ask my mommy if I can give my friends a ride home."

I get compliments on in from the women at work, but that's more because it's so much better looking and quieter than my s14 than because they're actually impressed.


Meanwhile my sister is driving the 240sx to work and getting a ridiculous amount of attention for it. (She works at a community college)
