Damn @graeme02 your interior looks sick man!!, must be awesome driving with that interior and the Torque app running!
Cool gear knob as well! In all honesty I read up on the DIY guide on this forum, it takes allot of time and skill to do something like this! I am going to wait for @Burns review of the Stop Shop unit, and if Torque app is functioning effectively , sounds like a good buy. |

@FT_86_SM_GP thanks man, and yeah its a bit of a fiddly set up, not too hard but some admin involved, if the stop shop unit does the same and is plug and play it makes sense.
I see you have the Phoenix header and tune, can I DM you to get your thoughts on this upgrade, looking into this at the moment. |

Sorry guys. I have been a bit busy.
STOP SHOP SAT NAV REPORT: 1) Landed and delivered it came to 6K ( Customs whacked me an extra 1K) Note* The price above included the Sat Nav unit, front DVR Camera and Bluetooth ELM327 unit 2) Removed the old head unit when was easier than i expected. 3) was very pleases when the loom supplied with the unit was just plug and play. within 2 mins of removing the old unit had the new unit temporarily connected. 4) next i plugged in the bluetooth ELM327. before i had found the bluetooth settings for the unit informed me it had synced. The torque app was already pre installed. Started the car engine and went to the torque dashboard. Full live engine feed back. Its awesome. 5) next plugged in the usb stick. quick to load. and the amp in the unit sorted out the horrible distortion i was getting before. This was a big plus for me as i was originally planning on replacing the standard speaker. Now i am pleased with the sound and dont need to spend more bucks. 6) As the unit has wifi i tethered my phone and connected to the net. Must admit watching youtube clips or stream radio stations is freaking cool. The screen resolution is good. 7) The sat nav. I havent yet loaded an offline map on to the sd card yet. But i tether my phone and use google maps which works well. 8) to properly install the unit i had to modify the 2 side mounting plates a bit. however this was not complicated. (will provide pics soon) 9) All in all i am very happy with the unit. If you are a techie guy such as myself you will love this unit. It like having a top range tablet which fits perfectly in your car. You can even match the back lighting to match the dash lighting. 10) So i have listed alot of pros above here are some of the cons: 1) it takes +/- 15 seconds to boot ( this is only a problem if you planning on using the reverse cam) 2) i haven't yet figured out how to play cd's / DVD's on it yet 3) I still haven't connected the antenna as i need an adapter cable. I will post some pics and vids soon or if anyone is in cpt and wants to come take a look you can pm me. Seriously stoked with my new head unit. I give it 2 thumbs up.
