Sti Battery Tie Down.

This might hold the optima yellow top battery better than Cusco tie down does.

Will do. I don't know if Stage 1 really registers on the butt dyno, but the AVCS is noticeably a little bit more aggressive and it feels a little bit smoother. I have headers that I need to install, so I'm sure that'll be more noticeable with a Stage 2 map. The upside to OFT is that all of the maps are open, so you can tinker to your heart's content, if you're so inclined.

Been experimenting with wrapping the door piece in Alcantara. Overland said they glued the whole piece.. but I couldn't get nice clean edges doing that.

My latest try was pretty successful.. but I don't think it's gonna hold up to the heat/cold. I glued the center and used scor-tape on the edges.

It's ridiculously tedious.. you can see a few spots I messed up near the back of the door.

So.. I've decided I'm going to make a fiberglass cover piece this week so I can do everything separate from the door. Then I can also pad it and get more creative.

While the panels were off.. I also deadened the doors and added MLV/CCF. I've had the panels off for a while and the car was deafening before.. but so far it seems much improved.

Installed my Maximal Performance oil cooler kit today. Easy install... but man AN fittings are a gigantic PITA for high pressure. Getting the fittings to seal on the lines with no weeping took a LOT of torque. Looks good though and keeps oil temps under control VERY well. I'm looking forward to my upcoming track day!

I also swapped my brake pads out for a Carbotech XP10/XP8 combo. I think it's completely overkill for the stock tires, but I'll find out soon enough. Pretty noisy, but they bite like crazy. Feels great!

Bet you've got a smile on your face! I have the same setup except with the nameless catted front pipe. Sounds PERFECT imo. I get nothing but compliments.
