Its hard to understand why there isnt a double integral used in Gauss' Law, especially when dA is a little square about the Gaussian surface.

I think a managed FAQ is a good idea because, even in the more authoritative threads, there is often some level of misinformation that I would like to eliminate.

Yeah, I think there are certain sections in which there's more definitive and widely agreed on material, and there are other sections (ahem, wheels/tires, suspension) in which people have wildly different expectations.

Side note, and something that really irritates the hell out of me: you don't win an argument automatically by calling the other side, "haters," first.

"They're just haters," is not a valid rebuttal, and it barely qualifies as an ad hominem.
