Found two tracks near Dallas, at least both on the West side of it. 4x more if you're willing to do the 6+ hour drive to Austin or Houston and get a hotel room for the weekend.
http://eaglescanyon.com/ http://www.motorsportranch.com/ There might be a few more I'm unaware of, this is just based on the tracks your local NASA chapter runs at. http://nasatx.com/about_tracks.php Looks like SCCA autocross is mainly centered around DFW as well. http://www.texasscca.org/soloautocro...vents-calendar |

Oh well, good old youtube it is!
For a lot of people there are no tracks around them for use. Thats why I'am asking CSG to make a video since they have tracks near them. |

If you are building a car for drag racing then get a turbo kit.

Not a drag racer nor track warrior. Just a DD street machine that might go out on saturday nights. Probably what most people do with their car.

I have some good footage of kit actually in action! If you want to see a brz with the high boost pulley race a camaro ss with intake, tune, and exhaust send me a pm and I will send you a link to the video on youtube since some people would complain to have it deleted off of here.

Either way, your video is dandy and all. But what was your baseline, and what was the gain from the HB pulley? How much is that camaro putting down. Too many factors in a video like that to showcase a pulley for a supercharger. However, (I'm saying this without actually listening to it, don't have headphones right now) it did look like you were able to sort of keep up with him. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

The owner hasn't put it on a dyno, so no clue as to what the numbers are. As far as the camaro with those mods they usually dyno around 400whp.
Yes there are a lot of factors in any kind of race, it doesn't matter which one. But at least there is a video of something vs nothing then wanting people to buy a product haha. All in all it was a good run. The camaro honked and took off at the same time though so he had a little advantage, no biggie though as it was all fun. Now if it was a stock camaro the brz might be door to door if not a little ahead. We shall find out soon. Also this is on E85. |
