If I knew where the thank button was, Bramick, I would press it... I'm apparently blind.
Robr, why would I put a turbo in a classic? That would defeat the purpose in the entirety of having a classic even if it is considered a restomod. The 289 was shot to crap and we jumped a few years and put a 302 in it.

Ok, what about a turbo 308 with a Bob Norwood built motor? Classic, motor built by a Ferrari legend.

And I was replying to the comment about not wanting to see stock Ferraris, if that wasn't clear.

Honestly I have more fun on Forza than most the C&C I've been to because I can at least "drive" the cars. I don't see the point in waking up at 5AM on my days off to stand there and circle jerk over cars like a kids in a candy store that are just going to walk out empty handed.

To each their own of course.

Oh I agree, I don't really even care much for parking lot/restaurant car meets. But I get to drive the 308

Nice!

Smaller meets are okay with the right crowd. It's easier to hang out and you can drive each other's cars. It's how I was able to drive a lot of cars for the first time haha.

. You'll need a higher post count. Then the thanks button will show up.

I just went this past weekend for the first time in 11 months. The new system they have is terrible and I'd say don't bother going. They don't let cars into the lot until 6:30 and by then there are huge lines along the major intersection off Dallas Parkway. Not to mention once you get in you're unsure of whether or not you actually want a parking spot. I ended up getting boxed in by a 240SX and S5 for about 45 minutes when I already wanted to leave. Got there at 5:45 and left at 8:30.

Just take the extra hours of sleep and look at pictures is my advice for C&C now.

I think it's still fun to go with people, but I don't even bother trying to park in the show lot anymore. They're gonna have to change this dumb 6:30 gates open thing they have going to some other method.

I ended up going with a buddy of mine. I don't care to park inside the lot anyway. The weather was nice and saw some nice cars. It wasn't bad at all. But definitely not something I'd attend every month.

Ivan told me that they started to open the gates at 7am and they closed the lot next door to the dealership. This is so stupid
