My first (and only mod)

....and one you should consider strongly, too. I hate this:

These ugly things are painted on, not stickers, so they will most definitely not peel off. So I used some commonly available sticky-back sheets of felt available at any craft store (this is "Presto Felt" brand),

Used a metal ruler and a sharp knife to cut 10cm x 12cm rectangles, and round off the corners with a scissors.

And now I have this!

Now my modding career is essentially over...

Cheers,

Dave

A lot of the cars now have them embossed into the material, it's not actually a sticker.

You should have done the whole side of the sun visor. The little rectange looks a wee bit tacky for my taste.

Tough crowd, I guess!

Rest assured, these look much, much, less noticeable in person than these pics make them appear. Black on black, you'd probably never notice them if not looking directly for them. And hey -- even if they did stick out: IMO, they're certainly still better than those garish yellow warning labels!

Why is this the only mod to the car? Must be SOMETHING else that is tempting right?

Wouldn't a black sharpie be easier?

maybe duplicolor flat or gloss black interior paint might work better??? you may have to "skuff" the bottom side a bit but it might look "cleaner" than a patch?
this is just a suggestion, not something i've done before on my car cause i dont mind the warning label, but i've seen in done on another car...

That warning label used to be on the inside so it's funny to see it on the outside now.

The felt patch looks even worse IMHO.
