A little late to the party but I'm proud to say that I'm now a owner of the ptuning turbo kit, also pulled the trigger on both their headers and exhaust. I've fallen in love with my car all over again

Did someone say GT28. Actually, we'll be testing the newer GTX2867R turbo shortly on the PTUNING FRS. This GTX28 is small and light vs the GTX3076R . I'm expecting big things from this compact turbo. We'll have some data shortly.

MrC

Clocking the turbo during the preassembly.

This may be a dumb question, but would this be compatible with the original system without modification? Interested in how this turns out!

That's a legitimate question. We are working on the details but as you can see, the compressor housing is much smaller in dimension. At a minimum, a different turbo to tranny support bracket and intake/coupler. The hotside in/out flange dimensions are the same, i.e. it will bolt directly to the existing overpipe, downpipe, etc.. All the coolant lines, turbo oil feed, return line are all compatible. We will eventually offer an install kit along with the turbo for existing owners that would like to try out a GT28/GTX28 turbo, if/when we decide to offer the GT28/GTX28 as an option with our turbo system.

Anyone by their car right now? The oil feed line T fitting that is on the front of the engine, the adaptor that comes out of the motor - it has silver colored threads on one side and brass on the other. Which side goes to engine and which to to T fitting? Thanks, need an answer today - the threads are tight both directions.

This has probably been answered in the previous 46 pages, so I'll apologize firstly, but Im guessing that being theres an overpipe replacement there's no way to use the Nameless mid/overpipe piece with this kit?

Well any way short of cutting and adding a flange, I mean.

No. You can sell both part when using our turbo kit since our turbo system comes with it's own Turbo Overpipe and 3" downpipe that replaces the factory overpipe and midpipe. Hope that answers your question.
