ZE40 18x10 +40 square
Just posting this as reference. Stock body FRS. Im running Volk ZE40 18x10 +40 all the way around with 245/40/18 tires. I had to camber the front a bit but so far no rubbing! (except full u turns). Im on function form coilovers damper set in the middle.

Looks great!! Im surprised we dont sell more of this fitment on the FRS/BRZ. I think it fits great and looks awesome. THOUGH, you must have coilovers.
The matte blue gunmetal looks great on the red man. |

okay so this might be a really really dumb question...... but how much does a wheel that wide affect the cars feel overall? most run this wide of a wheel with more power from what i understand.... but what about a stock FRS/BRZ?

245~255 is a pretty normal street setup. You don't need to go that wide but it works for most running a 9/9.5/10" wheel setup. -alex |

Are there any cons to having a wide meaty setup for a DD? Gas MPG wise. I know the MPH would be affected depending on what tire is being ran

I haven't had any rubbing whatsoever with my ZE40. Same spec as you except I'm running 255/35/18 Hankook RS3 tires. I track with mine all the time too.

Definitely must be a fully forged wheel going this big. I rode a 18x9.5 wheel prior to this and car felt super sluggish. With this fully forged wheel It felt much lighter and more responsive when turning.
