I decided to wrap my mirrors.

I used a precision knife to cut it perfectly and i guess i fcked up and thats what happened in the first pic, i was gonna fix it but i only had enough vinyl to do one more and i used it to wrap my other mirror.

Finished joining the dash pieces.. then did a trial run on sewing the dash piece tonight.

The actual sewing is a PITA. No wonder JPM makes the big bucks. I probably sat and planned my attack for a good 2 hours

Just taped it on to see. It would lay flat with glue.

My problem is the corners. Need a lot more practice.. Feed is terrible too, making my stitches too short. Not bad for a first attempt!

Next attempt this weekend.

Made a video with the mic mounted on the bumper. Pretty great sound from a $2 generic mic!

The time consuming part for me was figuring out exactly where I was going to mount the post. Once I figured that out and used the post to create a "mark" on the bumper cover by pressing in on that spot, the rest was easy. The 2nd side took me about 20 minutes. I'll do a DIY since I have more pics and measurements.

Got another glowing UOA report back from Blackstone-- ran my oil for ~7000mi this time and they said everything looks excellent and to try ~9k next time. Also I got some fancy brushed aluminum boxes for storing my maintenance records (full-sized box, kept indoors) and short-term upkeep notes / vehicle documentation (a lil' tin that fits handily in the glove-locker):

Installed new Apexi drop in airfilter and adjusted clutch pedal 1/2 turn higher.

Think I'm done messing with clutch pedal height. Feels great now.

Going to install Mishimoto intake hose this weekend and probably wait to put some more miles on before I do anything else

If anyone knows anything about the steering lock up discussed in this thread, please share. Happened to me a few times this weekend.
