90% is a lot! Well, if I ever go to Indianapolis for some FRS/BRZ event, I'll prepare to get smacked by a lady/ies

-Women may be interested in your car because it is expensive. Don't confuse being interested in its cost as being actually interested in the car itself.
-Women may work on cars, take some interest in your vehicular hobbies--but to no crazy extent that men do. And if given the opportunity they probably wouldn't want to spend the weekend dropping the motor on your car/truck/motorbike.

- Uh, no.
- I am certainly hoping the car attracts men, like you say!
- True, there are women like that, who will date a jerk just because he is rich. I hope you are rich.
- There's plenty of guys who wouldn't want to do that either. Sometimes a man or woman has interests that don't fit the gender stereotype because <gasp> it's just a stereotype.
- If you tell a man he can have any car he wants, it would be expensive and tough-looking. What's the difference?

I'm not into racing or working on cars. I can check/add oil and change a tire if needed (in heels!), but that's about it. I just like for my commute to be as fun as possible. I'm able to rattle off a bunch of stats, only from reading this site, but I don't know most of it means.

Only since this is the ladies' thread, I'll mention that I'd like to get nail polish to match the car. Guys, if you don't like it, you can switch back to ANY OTHER THREAD.
We are some-what on the same page with just wanting to enjoy life and feeling good driving around in a hot new FR-S! Nothing wrong with that Let me know if you find a decent OPI color that will match your sexy hotlava paint job. They need to make a collection for the several colors that are available, so what do you think of my super-fast mock up? Lol...

Those ARE cute cars. In central and south Florida women probably outnumber men 10 to 1 driving any of those.

Around here the only 240Z's are hooptied out and driven by drug dealers.

When I picked up my car, there was a woman who was looking to buy an AT. She was not exactly a car nut, but seemed to be a future owner.

I went back to my dealer to get some paperwork straightened out and a young lady who wanted to see the car came by. She was a MT girl and seemed to be an enthusiast.

They are out there...

she bought a 300 pcs tool kit yr before & she wanted to try em out.

As long as she doesn't have to touch oil or any fluids, she usually willingly help along w her fiancé... & if she has rubber gloves under her mechanic gloves, she'll help w fluid stuff too lol

But recently I've been teaching them how to cook more than how to repair/maintenance lol

I think it's time to move or travel the country a bit. Not everywhere is like where you live. No two people are the same. My old managers manager drove a careers. Her and the VP of our group drove the same car. She tracked hers. He didn't.

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

Alright, since I started this post, and relates to me being a girl and liking the FR-S...I have a question for you all --

I went to visit a Scion dealership out by me only to find two (already sold) FR-S's in the show room - No test drives allowed or anything. The new owner's names were listed on a cheaply designed 8X10 poster taped onto the dash of each vehicle. The tiny little sports cars were just sitting there, patiently waiting for their new owners to come take them away.

I wanted to see the interior up close and personal so I simply asked the sales guy if he could open it up and let me in. Expecting a "no, we can not do that" he actually let me inside and move around the seats and check everything out, pop the hood, play with the buttons, etc. My question is - if these were already purchased by a customer, down payments made, then how come the dealership employees let an outsider like me come in and mess around with all of the options? I am a gentle person, and respect people's property, but what if some a*hole came with a "I don't give a crap" attitude and messed stuff up? If that was my BRAND NEW car, I'd be super pissed they let others inside my vehicle! Is this legal or ok to do since it's still on the company's property? The more traffic near the car, the better chance of dings, dents, and scratches to surface...

I fell in love, except it was AT. Oh well, it's not like I was able to drive it anywhere.

Stereotyping people based upon sex/race/age when it comes to cars is one of the most useless things you can do.

My girlfriend has zero interest in cars, generally, and she loves the BRZ, and loves riding in it. She loves the handling ("It feels like you're moving laterally rather than diagonally when you change lanes) and the styling (and the attention it gets).
