It won't be anything outrageous, I can guarantee you that. It doesn't make sense for them to redesign a brand new front and rear end just for a facelift.

Erp, you're right. Just looked and the concept appeared in shows back around 2011. Not sure why I hadn't seen pics until now. Sorry, as I sheepishly disappear back under my rock....

Why not? The AP2 got new rear and front bumpers.

zzz STI concept made sense cuz that's only 4 months old, as for the others...........zzzzz That concept wing is the same wing as the one on my brz or any other countries's 86.

I do notice that the wing has an under wing area this time.... but i think that makes it less classy.

That's GazooRacing ver FT86 Concept (aka Mk1.5) which was shown in TAS along w FT-86 Concept.

I did like the front fender design... which they brought it up again on 14R60

i would say photoshopped but it was more like a hack job lol. i put the bumper piece from a prius. fog lights and markers from the WRX and drl from the brz with brz headlights. also noticed two humps or fang like things i drew a red line over in the lip area.

Hmm, yeah, I think that's pretty much it. Sigh... the more I look at it, the less I like it. The proportions are just not quite right. The grill is too wide. And if you look at the upper grill, it protrudes like a short overgrown mustache:

I think they were just trying to copy a lot of sports cars like the Corvette, Viper, and 370z. But the design of the current 86/FR-S grill is more unique and aggressive looking in my opinion. I suppose it was to be expected that it was going to look worse but I still had a small hope that they would listen to the positive feedback of the current 86/FR-S and Concept II design and stick close to those lines.

Just because its a couple year old concept doesn't mean the designers haven't been planning on using that same inspiration/material for the midcycle facelift.

Thought it was one of those VW Scirocco's for a second there. Looks like the poor car is having an identity crisis Orz

Till I see an official release from Toyota its just an artistic rendering.
