Afterwards nobody is allowed to put the car into gear and must race this way. The momentum of the course gets the car eventually to speeds of ~60-70 mph. Obviously this tests your braking and cornering capabilities. If you brake too late you'll probably spin out disqualifying you from the race. If you brake too early and too much you'll start to lose all your momentum eventually slowing your car to a stand still!
Only one problem with this good sir... How are you getting the car in neutral? Or are all the cars in their highest gear?

The Manual w/ clutch option in Forza. Essentially you have to hold the LB down the whole race. You can actually let go after a while and the car won't go in gear, but we prefer to hold it down just to prevent any cheating. I'm surprised everybody doesn't play with this setting. Clutch kicking makes drifting easier too with this control setup.

I like that! May have to pull out the 'ol 360 to give it a shot!

My buddy and I would play split screen on the mountain every day only going to full screen when we'd try to set new records... And we'd do pretty much the exact opposite of you guys where, instead of coasting, you have to race the whole time down the mountain with the throttle pinned and so the only way to keep a modicum of control was to figure out some combination of shift-locking and e-braking while the whole time you're bouncing off the rev limiter.

My personal favorite hijink was whenever we'd tandem and you get the perfect drift in which only throttle input is needed, you show off by taking your left hand off the controller and imitate holding your hand out a car window like those crazy real life drifters do.

I use this set up but I change the controls on the controller to setting 10. Where the right joy stick is the clutch and handbrake. Up for clutch and down for handbrake. It allows you to get just the right amount of either or

Yea, I just remembered mine is broken . Shit, if Xbone backwards compatibility comes soon enough though, I'll just skip Forza 6 all together and just revert to Forza 4!

Build a high revving V8 BRZ with the SpeedFactory paint design. It's a pretty sweet A-Class/ S-Class (if supercharged) fighter. I'll post some pics later tonight or tomorrow.

Just got the game yesterday. I had played a bit at my buddies house but I am still very new to simulation racing. My friends were pissed when on my level 1 prize spin after the tutorial I got the veyron super sport. My level 2 prize spin I got 1 mil credits. Needless to say I have had no problem wasting a ton of money on my 86.

I spent almost all my time after the tutorial working on an 86 drift build. I think I dialed in a really nice setup on the V8 swap and it sounds alot better too . I messed around with turboing the stock block and then tried the flat 6 in NA, supercharged and twin turbo before settling on the NA V8 as it is so much more controllable.

If any of you enjoy drifting in the game take a look at my tune and let me know what you think. It should be listed under something along the lines of "Drift V8 NA" with Tectoniic as the creator. It does cost ~85k on a stock 86 and has a rating ~716.
