Maybe @BigFatFlip can reverse engineer his alarm this time so it goes off at 6am instead of 6pm.
Haha, I did a little double-take when I saw you post and figured it was the forum hamsters messing around. I'll see if I can swing a drive this weekend.

I was thinking of doing a drive this Saturday morning too! And since the Roof wrapping party doesn't start until 10:30AM now, that's plenty of time to do the drive, AND still make it to the event at The Racer's Line at 10:30.

My thinking was, either go Redwood > Pinehurst > Moraga or > Grizzly Peak to 24, then continue on to Concord from there. OR Mines Rd > Junction, then turn back and go up Vasco Rd to 4 > Concord. But ... 6:45AM is kinda early though haha.

Yeah. I've been feeling kindof sick off and on this week, so I'm still debating if I want to get up early on Saturday or try to sleep in.

Let me know either way. I do have to be back by 9/10am on Sat, so an early start would be much better for me. If not, I may just do my own Redwood run solo again

OK here is what I would propose. I'll leave it up to @Clipdat if he wants to start a drive at 6:45am, but if he does and takes Redwood down towards Castro Valley, I can suggest a slightly later morning rally point at Rudy's Donuts in CV. Say at 7:30am. From there we can choose to drive Palomares out to Sunol, and those who want to continue on, we can go out to Mines and go to the Junction and back. After that we can take Vasco up to Hwy 4 and out to Concord, and if we are done a little early we can even stop for breakfast somewhere before we head over to The Racer's Line. I know there's a Digger's Diner in both Brentwood and Concord but I'm also open to other suggestions too.

I may be up for this. I'll be coming from SF, so we will see if I get up early enough. :p

I'm officially out for tomorrow. Unfortunately still not feeling 100% so I'm going to sleep in.

Have fun and stay safe tomorrow!

Hope you feel better man.

OK so officially the meet up spot is:

Rudy's Donut House
3692 Castro Valley Blvd
Castro Valley, CA 94546
Saturday, 9/19/2015
Meet at 7:30AM. Roll out by hopefully 7:45.
From there we will take Palomares Rd down to Sunol, stop at the Sunol Super Station in case anyone wants some 94 octane gas or E85 fuel. After that we will head up to Livermore and take Mines Rd to the Junction. We will then turn around and go back to Vasco Rd towards Brentwood and Concord, maybe stopping for breakfast somewhere along the way if we are done early, before heading to The Racer's Line for the Roof Wrapping Party meetup.

Yes, this will be an 86DRIVE STARS earning event!

Bring radios if you have them. Cash for gas, food, etc. Vinyl and cleaning supplies etc. if you are going to be wrapping your car at TRL.

I like the idea of having essentially 2 drives: 1/2 Redwood+Pinehurst and 1/2 Palomares etc. Since Drew isn't feeling well (feel better man!) I can take anybody who is interested in an early morning start through Redwood and Pinehurst, then down to Rudy's to rendezvous with the rest of the folks at 7:30am (probably more like 7:45)

I'll use Drew's original meeting point in Alameda

Starbucks
720 Atlantic Ave
Alameda, CA 94501

Meet at 6:30, leave promptly at 6:45

I might have to just go on my own drive tomorrow... I'm thinking I-80W to Concord. Start in Sac, leave at 9:30, should give us enough time to get to the shop by 10:30. Who's down?

You guys have fun, I'll sleep in :P
