Haha, I'm just curious. A couple people in our local group just use Ford Prestone Truck fluid since it's dirt cheap and has a 500F dry rating. Not the best but it's literally like $10/bottle and has actually worked quite well on AP Sprint, get's about 3 days right now of a fairly aggressive track on brakes (TMP in Cayuga).

I got at least 6-7 days out of AP Super 600 before I would just bleed a bit just because. Pedal never changed. Now on my Integra I kill Super 600 in 4-5 events..

Man track season is only about 4 months of the year up here, I'd love to get in 38 track days in a year...even 10 would be nice

I use the Castrol SRF. Change it once a year because I'm bored. Yes, it's expensive, but it has the highest wet boiling point. Moisture absorption is what compromises brake fluid. That's why you have to replace it. If you got 30 days out of your fluid, how much would it be worth? It works for me. YMMV

AP rotors are now at 31 days and counting. Still heat checking, but no cracks running to an edge....

Well, I literally haven't even bled the fluid in the car since I put the AP kit on, so 31+ days and the pedal is rock hard.

I run the car at 10/10ths every session that I am in it, so I'm not easy on the equipment by any means.

With the RBF600, on stock brakes w/ ti-shims, SS lines, and Cobalt XR2 pads, I would have to literally bleed the brakes after every 2 SESSIONS each day at Sebring in the summer.... it was terrible. It wouldn't boil, but the fluid would break down and was compressing, so the pedal would go soft.

Yeah I didn't make an entire event without bleeding either. I meant with the so brakes I got those results I wrote

Yeah the Torque RT700 has been absolutely flawless, definitely recommend swapping to that. I was getting the same/similar results in the stock brakes with the RT700; just flush and leave it - no need to bleed all the time.

Update - passenger side rotor finally cracked to the outer edge, after 40 DAYS! Changed both out, but drivers side could probably get a few more days out of it... Incredible!

Chart and numbers have been updated. Kit pays for itself after 27 days (also added the initial cost of SS lines, TF brake cooling kit and titanium shims to the OEM initial cost). And, included the average total track days the car sees a year (45 to 50), which shows that we'll save $1,000 after the first season of running this kit (which INCLUDES the initial cost!)
