Man, that's definitely a price I'd be interested in. Question is can I wait - I'm guessing they'll sell a bucketload of these.

I'm actually thinking about going auto too - given how ridiculously cheap this car is. The great reviews of the auto by many FR-S drivers indicate that its the smart option if you plan on using it as a daily driver (in Sydney/Melb traffic).

if its $39,468 Drive Away for Auto, and the conditions are
"The drive away price shown is based on a vehicle being garaged in the postcode 5000, and on the owner being a 'rating one' driver aged 40 with a good driving record. Please note that your actual drive away price may differ depending on your individual circumstances. Please talk to your local Toyota Dealer to confirm the price that is specific to you." does that mean it's more expensive in Sydney? |

Sorry to disappoint davey but it's actually not a DSG - it has a Torque Converter much like many other auto - except this one is actually good.
basically what this is figuring out is Stamp Duty (i think it's a lil higher for us Sydney siders) and CTP (it will be higher for you given your age). |
