The real answer is:
You have a BRZ.
It is SO hard to steal that I have read about the Dealers having difficulty reprogramming them if the owner loses the original keys & FOB.

You have one of the hardest cars to steal.
Most of the time I go to the grocery store, I leave my windows open and the car unlocked.
What are they gonna do, steal my armrest? - Oh that's right I dont even have an armrest....

Has anyone heard of a BRZ being stolen OTHER than towing it away?

It's to clear a flood. I use it to prime the engine after I change the oil. Dunno if it helps the engine but it helps me feel better about it.
