I saw this reposted by fteightysix on fb, I was wondering what was happening.... Effin' dumbass


Meanwhile, my exhaust has made it's way across the country! Currently sitting in Spokane, WA.

My phone is also on it's way, presumably getting loaded onto a Fedex plane in Hong Kong right now. Its going to be like an early christmas for me next monday and tuesday.

ah, corsa sounds nice but i don't like the use of slip joints myself. more prone to exhaust leaks.

Not going to lie, don't know anything about slip joints or troubleshooting exhaust leaks.

Learned to fix computers by messing around with broken ones. Guess I'll do the same with my car! lol

Slip joints are as they sound. One end of pipe slips over another, and then you use a clamp to friction fit/press the two together. The upside is that there's usually a bit of adjustability with them, so it'll be a bit easier to get the exhaust tips to be centered in the cutouts.

That was how I learned. I was 14 and it was an 18 year old 55 Chevy but close enough.
