I bet your trap speeds are slower than turbo guys though as they are liking making more power. You can't be making more than 220whp. Last edited by stevo585; 09-10-2015 at 10:56 PM. |

Does anyone recommend anything else other than an ecutek retune like a stadalone ECM.A local guy in our 86 club recommend a hydra ECM. Didnt know if that would be a smart move

I think thats what killed that one guys motor his clutch slipped, hit the fuel-cut rev limiter and boom. What you need is a ignition cut rev limiter which Ecutek can do. |

The only reason why I say it is difficult is reaching the wire. there is only one wire that you actually have to tap into and thats for the rpm signal its just deep in the engine bay. Other than that its just power and ground.

I do have access to it, but there is a tuner I have been in contact with who recommends not to ise nitrous and e85 and I have never ran e85 ay all. If anyone has any more info on it id love here your thoughts on e85 and nitrous.

I'd suggest you hold off on the final drive until after you've added power. You may find you run out of RPMs too quickly with shorter gears. A built turbo FA20 with nitrous could easily get 500+hp, and many high-hp guys prefer running taller gearing. Just don't forget the E85.

Just wanting to know if anyone has gotten a 1320 header. Im considering ot for my build but I haven't seen any collector diameters on it. Im looking for a 2.75 inch collector because I heard of rubbing issues with a 3" exhaust.
