I got alot done. Pulled all interior from behind the front seats to the tail lights and put in 20-30lbs of Dynomat. I heard the rear quarters where hard but they really are easy. Then I swapped fluids in the tranny and diff with Motul 300. Old fluids looked good but tranny magnet had some metal fileings and the diff mag had weird black sludge. This is at 10k. Last I pulled the clutch spring and lowered adjustment slightly. WOW what a difference that makes.

My Milltek exhaust showed up
They really need to package it a little better, the flexi's outer wire mesh was damaged by rubbing on a flange ![]() It is a fairly long way from the UK to NZ...no excuse though... New slotted rotors are held up in Customs because the Aussies couldn't/didn't do what I asked....they might get them back yet if I get a bill from Customs....good times......

My Lachute Performance catback came earlier than expected! Running to storage to grab my tools (just moved, haven't grabbed em yet) and then I'll post pics in my build thread. Woo!

Rescaling them now, they should all be done in roughly ~30min or so in my build thread with some writeup.
It's so, so, so much quieter than my HKS and I could not be happier. It's definitely not stock, but it doesn't scream "modified exhaust" to anyone who doesn't own an FRS. A lot deeper (tonewise) than stock, and no drone I can detect. An earlier review (a lot earlier) said they had some drone around cruising speed, but the V2 they sell now has a larger resonator and I can't detect any drone, but I did come from an exhaust with more drone than the US Air Force's unmanned arsenal so maybe I can't tell anymore. If you plan to do a header or something or OP/FP, I'd recommend this since it really isn't loud at all in any way. Definitely at or under 90dB.

Yeah i'm ACE EL catless al the way through to where the catback will start and this exhaust has me excited to know how it will sound with a EL header.. Its on my next list of mods so I might be getting it within a month or so.. I just was really hoping for titanium tips... But the exhaust note quality vastly out ways a little bit of tip sweg. Cheers. Edit: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbbUgjjP1Jo"]Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ - OFH, Nameless Downpipe and Lachute Catback - YouTube[/ame] Sound clip with headers. |

"BaysonR Motorsports", sells cheapo urethane body kits that fit great, and stop me from scraping on expensive things like my actual bumpers. Nothing to write home about but it cost less than what a single piece of many "high-end" kits runs, for skirts lip and a diffuser. They have a bunch of replica pieces if the STI style kits or TRD kits if those appeal to you.

I got up at 3.00 am this morning left home at 3.30 all to see my daughter off to school on her 16th birthday, did some other stuff then drove home, 9hrs driving my Monaro (GTO).
Then I thought bugger it I will put my Milltek exhaust on the GT 86. ![]() I had a wee battle with the over pipe, dropped the rack & took the heat shields off, then gave up & released the engine mount, then jacked the motor up ![]() Right Hand drive sucks sometimes ![]() Still have to adjust the tail pipes one is quite a bit off, got it done just before dark, its been a long day & I'm not as young as I used to be ![]() Very happy with the exhaust note, quite subtle & my noise meter tells me it is only just a wee bit louder in the cabin cruising at 64 mph
