Is there a reason we keep moving east? Getting kind of far to drive out. At this rate, might as well combine with the Chino meet. (I'm being sarcastic btw, we're 86two6, not 909)

626 is more than just south of the 60 and east of the 605. Can we try to accommodate the other half of the 626?

but isn't that what the Arcadia (626) meet does? accommodate the west half of the 626.

A few of us east 626ers attend the arcadia meet.

That's why I frequent the Arcadia meet now as it's at least more centralized. I use to go to 86two6 every week before it went on hiatus and while it was still west of Azusa.

I'm not exactly sure how or why the Arcadia meets started, but I don't think it's main goal was to accommodate the west half. It was a pretty small group until very recently. If you're noticing more west 626 attending it...then maybe it should be a red flag that 86two6 should keep the meet more centralized to stay true to it's roots of being a meet for 626. We should unify the 626, not split it up. The 626 meet shouldn't be closer for Chino members than actual 626 members...

Well the 626 is a pretty good size area, I really don't see why there would be a problem with more than one meet. Other than finding a place that can accommodate 30+ cars on a weekly basis without causing problems or issues with property management. Last weeks 86two6 meet was very big, the week before was around 13 cars. Inland meet (chino) is a really small meet from what I heard. You should probably talk to the 86two6 meet organizer and let him know to have the meets move around to west more than just being on the east side.

meets in the 626 come and go.

We will always have this problem in the 626. The 10fwy and the west of the 605 separated by the 60 and east 605. AKA Alhambra or Hacienda Heights.

A good analogy for what I'm trying to say would be the LA Angels...how do you have a Los Angeles baseball team, BASED IN OC?!

We're called 86two6 for a reason...I'm not saying bring it to SG/MP(wouldn't mind as it's way closer for me)...but let's try to keep it between Rosemead Bl and Azusa Way...that's not too much to ask is it?
