Only an issue if you don't use proper sandwich plates or don't reinforce the chassis w/ a welded base plate.

Our Pink Ribbon Racing NASA Time Trial BRZ with Driveway Labs @Wonderbar Type 3 Diffuser... on track... where it belongs. I had a 95mph off (way, way off track) through the dirt at Miller Motorsports Park this weekend with no damage to the diffuser.

I stress test components to the max!!! JRSC, 4000ft elevation, 100 degree weather, pushing the car to the limit and beyond.

Don't you have separation regardless, unless you bring the trunk and diffuser to a point.

Yes, but, if you have ramp the angle up too steep then you get flow separation occuring within the diffuser which lowers the effective area of it.

7-10 degrees is ideal, anything else is not ideal and can lead to stalling of the diffuser. For us non-engineer types, that's really all you need to know.

My plan was to make it look as oem as possible , yet still have some sort of function
