Hello all! This hasn't been active in a while, so I'm starting this back up. I promised a date in september, and here it is- saturday, September 19th. I've already got a location ( @The Racers Line new shop in concord) and am hoping to get a good turnout. This should give everyone ebough tike to order the vinyl they want/need. Please comment if you can make it so we can set up a time!

By the way, I got quoted 500 for a roof wrap the other day. Not all shops are this expensive, but this might save you some money this way.

Sweet I'm down to make it, do you recommend any specific vinyl? I want to do a gloss black on my roof, and how much should I get?

Honestly I've found some good 3m sheets on amazon. Or message @The Racers Line I know he has a vinyl vendor he goes through.

If you can, use 3M 1080 vinyl film.

http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...s/CarWrapping/

The stuff is nearly indestructible and very forgiving during installation.
If you finished squeeqeeing down a roof, and found that you had misplaced the film, you would be able to peel it off, re-position and do it again.
And you dont use water. It goes down dry.

It should take longer to clean the roof than to actually apply the film.

Less than 3 weeks to go! I hope everyone is getting their vinyl ordered!
Time should be around 7-8 AM.
Address will follow shortly. It will be in Concord though.

Not sure if I'll participate considering I still have no idea what style and shade of black I want, but I'll happily be there.

You have 18 days! Maybe some people will be using different vinyl that you will be able to compare in person.
