Makes sense. If you like your local dealer, going with them is the best bet. 2 weeks isn't that long to wait. Hope you get the car you want!

At this point I think I am gonna stick with my local dealer, hands down the best service I have received. They just couldn't get any more cars allocated to them until 2-3 weeks from now.
The one in H'burg sold right after I had test drove it. It had 100+ miles on it after I had driven it. I think the guy got in trouble because he let me test drive it when the car was really sold.

Honestly I think that this car, after driving it on the street, needs to stay on the track or get different wheels and tires. I was hardly putting this the car into turns and I could hear the tires squalling. The shifting is a little stiff also. Keep in mind I am comparing to a mid engine mr2 turbo.

There were 2 guys waiting while I was dealing with the sales guy and even the manager came out and was pressuring me to buy it. At that point I was over it, I know what I want and what I want to pay. The whole time they wouldn't let anyone drive it and my sales guy had the keys or so I thought.

Overall I enjoyed the car but didn't push it on the test drive. We really didn't take it on any twisty roads all stop lights and traffic. The clutch would take some getting use to, nice and smooth but I could not feel the engagement point.

Yup that is how the they do it up there in H'Burg. They only see dollar signs in their eyes. They could give one lick about they person who actually purchases the car. The first question that my guy asked me was, "So, are you going to buy this today?" We went for a drive and I taught him so much about the car that he didn't know about it. All he knew was that the car had certain add-ons and that the price was xxx. He only knew the price because he referenced the window sticker. If anything he should pay me for giving him the knowledge that he needs to be able to sale another one of these cars in the future.

W2, Let me know if you need a monthly payment. I can help you with that. We sold all 5 of our FR-S. You shouldn't be forced to buy any extras. It's all optional.

No change for me, no clue what the delay is… I’m in limbo as the #2 preorder at Beyer with the #3 having already been delivered.

I thought your name sounds familiar, My friend and I worked with you in buying a TC before he's quiet happy with it, you're a great Rep. I'm glad to see you here !! I will recommend my father and friends to see you for the FRS

Is it because of different colors? or what's the deal with it
