In all honesty, I clicked this figuring it would be some nasty (in a bad way) looking 86 but I was not expecting this! That gauge cluster is so f'ing beautiful dude! I could stare at it all day long! You get major kudos for pulling off something this sick

This build is amazing.

It's everything I wanted my BRZ to be. Especially the louvers. I shouldn't have creeped around though! I sold my BRZ a few months ago to focus on a rallyx project.

...I wonder if anyone would care to know that I have a set of those Retro 2s sitting in my basement.

You're welcome. I was actually in the process of ordering them from Wheeldude when I found a set (plus tires) another member on here was selling for the same price so I jumped on it. I have entertained the idea of selling them but I am a bit hard to please when it comes to wheels and these were love at first sight. Who knows, I might pick up another 86 in the future or I might stick them on my Forester or a WRX for shits and giggles.

They look great on a Forester. This is the previous owner of my set :

Well , it's decided. I love World Rally blue, but in order to protect it, and to further make it unique, I'm wrapping it British Racing green metallic this winter ! same color as this WRX... I've already given a deposit for the vinyl, but would still like to hear your thoughts? Classic color for a retro inspired car?

Could you take a picture of how you mount the louvers? Do they have a hinge on them like a Mustang? Seems like it would be a pain to keep the rear window clean

They take about 5 minutes to remove. 8 bolts with an allen key... there is a DIY on here regarding the install.

I've never took the time to look. I know there's a few floating around that are put on with 3m tape. I just don't see that being very effective.
