I told the dealer to not even breath on mine...got it all wrapped up and not even washed by the dealership butchers. I took the plastics off at home.

Most likely this is from land transport. The car is actually secured on sea transport via openings on the frame rails.

There's a thread somewhere about rubber plugs that some dealers forget to install on the car.

So looking at the pics, all other parts of the world get a Toyota with a dual climate control standard, while the US gets a Scion with a knob shift controls?

And the only way currently to get that "navigator" style control is to get a Monogram or a RS?

Interesting that.

Man, I wish I could've gotten mine freshly "sealed"... lol

Oh well. Good information however.

Mine sat in the showroom for 5 months. Out of the elements? Yes, but probably had more asses through it then a Grand Canyon tour.

I thought you were going to go a different route with your analogy...

Got me all hot and bothered for no reason.

I can see the OEM white plastic film on the trunk, roof, and hood but what are those little rectangles above the rear wheels supposed to protect?

In my country you can get only 2 types of equipment.

The Toyota Sol and the Toyota Sport equipment.
The main differences are the automatic two zone air conditioning, Xenon HID head lights, LED daytime running lights, the front lights washing system, Smart Entry Key, Push Start button and the cruise control. The rest is pretty much the same.

The navigation system, carbon fiber mirror covers, reverse sensors, aero kit, alcantara seats... optional and on order only.

My first thought it might be a hand-hold/push point for loading/unloading. Probably not though.
