Duh, Brainiac I was refer to the new ones, especially the new body style Camaro. But thanks for the heads up.

Actually pretty easy. I didn't want to risk messing up the deck so I followed the instructions to remove from this thread. I saw other posts where people were able to get it out without pulling the panels off.

After the deck is out it was just a matter of knocking the plastic welds off the factory light (quick zip from a 1/2" drill bit took them right off), sticking the light on and reassembling the interior. Took less than an hour, and that includes extra time spent looking for clips that flew off into random places. The light itself is already wired and will plug n' play with the factory wiring in the trunk. Kit also includes some stick-on felt pieces to cover the holes left from the factory light. I may go back and recover the entire deck to level it out, but it doesn't look too bad the way it is now.

On an ancillary note, I think it's hilarious when people have 19s on, but still have stock brakes, looking like a Conestoga heading west.

I just assume they are waiting on cashflow... makes things easier to deal with. Then I make a point not to ask in order to maintain the illusion.

Well, they must be doing something right, seeing as they haven't died from dysentery after trying to ford the river.

Due to an incredible Twins data base (here at this site) provided by FT86 Club participants, I decided to build a model, or two, of possible future exterior modifications for my real CWP BRZ, using the following:

Tamiya (1/10) R/C Body Set Subaru BRZ R&D - Sport ~ Item # 51515

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=51515

I am also considering this 1/24 Sports Car Series No. 324 / Subaru BRZ ~ Item # 24324

http://www.tamiyausa.com/items/plast...baru-brz-24324

http://www.tamiya.com/english/produc..._brz/index.htm

to test different wheels:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/1-24-Scale-/...24+scale+tires

Here is a 1/10 wheel version:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...&_sacat=145974

At this point, I am currently working on ten (10) posts, so I can say many thanks for club member contributions to these pages, which have been sincerely appreciated.

(BTW) The cricket modification was one of the most intense installs ever because it was hard keeping those buggers all in one place.

As much as I'd love to say I've already installed it, unfortunately more prep work is being done on my car before I can put it on
