I've been in the show seen for over eight years until recently with my previous build. I've taken more trophies home than I had room for. I absolutely see where @BRZPDX is coming from. Out of 50 shows a summer, maybe two or three are legit enough to have points and professional judging. It's more of a forum to show off than anything. My last build had more leds and tvs than a best buy and quite often judges would choose mine over a car that I thought was more deserving because they choose flash over true craftsmanship. Since I've moved on from this seen, I got my Frs and found this awesome group of people that enjoy more than sitting in one place for six hours straight while grubby children run up to your pride and joy and slam their hands on the side of it. Whether it be autox, a cruise, photos, whatever, it's cool to be a part of people who just want to have a good time. Thank you

That's what I'm sayin! If HINpdx does happen again next year. I'm not showing my car. Being stuck there all day is a pita. But I did feel important showing off the car.

I think paying for them to put my car on display for 12 hours is crazy. I was willing to pay, then they had me out at "cars won't be available until after midnight"

It was 32 bucks for basically indoor parking and 2 guests and unlimited entry. Where as it was 20 bucks per person plus hourly parking on the street and 1 time entry.

I am glad you had fun! I wouldn't have gotten out of saturday without spending a $100. I'm glad i opted out to get some stuff done around the house and pull the trigger on a new roof spoiler. I cannot stand to look at mine any longer. It's going to be a long 8-10 weeks....
