So are the CBI's brighter than the Ultinon 6200k? Cuz nigel is very tempting with those.

(I mean in terms of K, the CBI should be brighter)

5000K range HIDs would be ideal for brightness/visibility. With 6000K range HIDs, you will sacrifice a bit of visibility due to the slightly higher kelvin temperature and slightly lower lumens output.

Do you not carry the Osram CBIs? Because they seem to be the brightest to date from what I have saw on other forums

Unfortunately, we do not carry the Osram CBIs at the moment.

So would you be able to put D4S HID bulbs straight into the stock housing with absolutely nothing else?

Yes, that's correct. For the BRZ, you would simply remove the factory D4S bulbs and install new D4S bulbs and that's it. A quality aftermarket D4S bulb is recommended so that it does not damage your vehicle's factory HID lighting system.

I found this video that taught me how to swap the HIDs

It's pretty helpful

Thanks, as far as I know though the FR-S doesn't come with HID headlights stock no matter what options you choose though right?

Well I was actually looking at the D4S headlights on hidpowerhouse but if I have the FR-S with halogen headlights I would have to buy a conversion kit first, correct? Trying to figure out how all this works.

Yes, if you have halogen bulbs you will need a conversion kit of some kind to have HIDs

Yes, if you have a FR-S with halogen headlamps, you would be shopping for a HID conversion kit, which includes ballasts, bulbs, wiring along with proper H11 connectors. We carry a complete lineup of HID kits, starting from the competitively-priced PlatinumR HID kit to one the top tier HID kits from Philips Germany.

With these HID kits, you won't need to modify anything, no wire cutting or splicing, everything is straightforward plug and play with proper connectors for a seamless upgrade.
