Pedal may have been just a tad too low in the first place. Also the length of throw with the stock hydraulics is abysmal. Until I fixed that, I was always misjudging the engagement and slipping the shit out of the clutch in second.
@civicdrivr is on point. I've also had chatter from a blown rear main seal. Got lucky that time. Cleaned up nicely and drove on the same clutch until I bought the FR-S.

Lets see how things play out. I've been driving today almost the whole day and it has behaved fine. Still does the shaking while taking off, at times, but this could be due to not enough gas given. I guess if things persist then i'd have to remove or have someone remove the tranny and double check anything.
Are these lightened flywheels something you could resurface? Thanks Quote:

The flywheel can be resurfaced depending on the depth of the heat affected zone. Make sure you pick the shop carefully and ask them to pull as little as they can with each pass. Ask them to rebalance.

I'm not entirely sure how it happened in my case, but its created by too much heat. I drove to NY yesterday and sat in traffic for about two hours. Every start resulted in that annoying shudder, frustrating to say the least. Sent from my XT1095

Yeah I guess I'm just paranoid, the one time I took my car to a shop and well now I got this situation. Let's see if anyone locally could refer to a good place. Really appreciate your support man.

Best wishes. Don't worry. It just takes some TLC and, with an accurate grind and balance, could come out better than new. Depends on the original manufacturing tolerance and/or installation surface prep.

One thing that strikes me as really odd which may turn out to not be as odd as I think is that all my problems seems to happen on really hot days after driving in the city for about 45 mins or more. My morning drives to work, normally about 30 mins or so still with some traffic, in about 86F weather, the car is perfectly normal, no shaking, no hard gears(which haven't been present since adjusting the pedal). Im sure there's an explanation and nothing to do with timed drives lol. What is it the heat affects that is causing this, oil, grease?

When I used to have a Clutchmasters stage 3, 4 puck sprung on a turbo civic it would get jittery when I was in stop and go traffic just because the friction disk would start to get more and more sticky as it got hotter and hotter. If I slipped it too much it would just grab and hold on (only happened once or twice).

Hmmm... That just doesn't seem right in any case. Sticky for real, or warping?
