A CARB JRSC FRS/BRZ will pull on a stock WRX.

The CSG BRZ with a JRSC (obviously non-CARB) will pull on the CSG WRX (obviously not stock).

Lets Summarize.

- I claim CARB JRSC > Stock WRX
- @glamcem claims Bolt on Evo > all Rotrex twins.
- I claim CSG BRZ > CSG WRX (CSG WRX > bolt on Evo)
- @glamcem somehow infers CSG BRZ = CARB JRSC (nope) and posts a video of a intake/exhaust/cam/header/tune C5Z pulling on a E60 M5 to refute my claim that a Stock E60 M5 will pull on a stock C5Z at any speed

Got it.
Way too many claims going on here to keep track.

Why wouldn't a 260-270whp BRZ/FRS walk a 250whp 2015 WRX? I mean, seriously. The WRX is making less power, has smaller AUC, and weighs more, with a larger CdA. It doesn't get much more conclusive than that, except actually doing it yourself.
This.

no, that is not correct..We all were (including you) referring to your initial claim -not mine- from the beginning, and you're now confusing other people let's just leave all that (M5 vs Z06 thing out for a second since it's not relevant)

because you clearly said CARB JRSC on the post #16 which I quoted in my previous comment

C38 or E85 or even a full exhaust car is not considered "CARB Certified" so I've been saying "no way a CARB Rotrex kit can hang with the listed cars from roll" , it's not because a CARB Rotrex kit slow or anything, ... I think everyone need to be fair/realistic on their claims, affiliated or not and shouldn't mislead others when they're not sure on a subject, that's all I am saying

But you live in cali, that may not go over too well if you aren't going to keep it CARB legal.

They can't really tell until smog time. Even at that you can put it back to carb pretty easily. Unlike my poor 2000 celica. I got to remove everything every 2 years.

Carb Legal Kit + Aftermarket Tune is very possible and obviously easy to flash back and forth.

Once you start removing cats thats when it gets sketchy :p

Yeah that's what I meant. Flashing tunes is easy, but any odd-looking mods to the exhaust might get you in trouble if you're ever pulled over.

And, that's why we run the stock muffler

that's when I raised the because I know for the fact Carb legal car only makes around 260-270 whp (just like in the OP) there is no way it can hang with a 2015 WRX..all our assumptions and your assumptions were based on that, you know it since when a C38 series Rotrex kit is CARB Certified?

OTOH, I think C38 is a very bad idea, each his own of course
My E85 frs hangs with a wrx...

wrx is heavier and only makes 268 bhp... a 270 whp twin will walk it all day and all night...an sti only makes 305 bhp...

dynos don't tell shit about real world especially comparing two cars that are 700 lbs difference...
