I did 10 minutes of a 20 minute test drive with the daughter in law and could not recommend it for one second. Even as a straight city car it just totally sucked. It speaks volumes that this is now one of Mitsu's flagship car (at least in Canada) and they are pushing the hell out of them while dropping the Eclipse and Evo.

Definitely no! Given OP is trying to save money I'd vote against this. They're great cars but they are THIRSTY! I miss mine but I definitely do not miss filling her up after driving the FR-S.
