installed HKS coilovers yesterday. job was easy and could be tackled by even the most novice DIY wrencher.
Here's a before picture for reference, i was on rce yellow lowering springs ![]() in progress ![]() ![]() once i dropped the ass down, i knew there would be no way for my jack to clear the front lip, so added some wood. ![]() then i took her for a quick spin, everything settled into place and she's now sitting waiting for her alignment appointment.

place called tru-line in bellevue (also have a location in seattle) and the alignment cost varies depending on what you're looking for, how much adjustment needs to be made etc...

Dropped my car off for a full inside/outside detail/claybar and a couple of small ding repairs by a paintless dent dude.
Fresh Start detail in Beaveron - OR. They have $5 BMW loaners one of which I am driving around and will pick up the BRZ tomorrow. (no rain no rain no rain) |

Recently moved to the OC from Seattle and filled up the car with Cali "piss water" 91 for the first time.
People weren't kidding when they say the twins are everywhere around here. It seems like every apartment complex I visit in Irvine has one in the parking lots. |

Finally went to one of those drive-in car wash station things for the first time ever. Really should've started sooner. I've been trying to get by with Garry Dean method ONR washes because of the drought, but it's so nice to be able to just rinse the crap out of everything.
I was using an automatic touch-less wash at a gas station as the pre-wash for a while, but the wheel scrub thing seems to have decided that the door/fender is the wheel. Has to be one of the most painful sounds ever. All of the wash options had the hub scrub, and I haven't really found any other good automatic touch-less wash I'm willing to drive to. The washing station is much better anyway. On a side note, I'm noticed that my headlights are already starting to get cloudy
